Gathering resources in New World can be a pain, especially when searching for that specific item. You could end up whiling away hours walking across Aeternum on the hunt, only to give up empty-handed.

The trick to success while gathering any rare resource in New World is to increase your Luck in that specific Gathering skill. This stat can sometimes be found on weapons and armor, but you can increase your Gathering Luck right in the kitchen with the right ingredients.

1. Salted Poultry with Cabbage

If you hunt for rare resources like Petrified Wood or Whisperwood, your best bet to gather some without going bonkers is to consume Salted Poultry with Cabbage.
